Descriptions:
Since 1967, Daryl and Joan Cave had been farming in Ogle County, Illinois, raising hogs and growing field corn each year.
Daryl passed away on June 28, 2022 in a tragic accident, leaving his 2022 crop needing to be harvested.
At harvest time in late October, the farming community of Ogle County provided their time and resources to bring in Daryl’s harvest. Two combines, four grain carts and six semis were used over four days.
